Kudos to nine Rancho Del Rey Middle students who recently participated in the “Big Read” competition through the National Endowment of the Arts. The All-Metro Conference selection’s father is Canadian — and also an ice hockey fan. The dad grew up playing ice hockey in Vancouver and follows the Canucks.
